Ace of Wands

This is a message for the Equinox, for the first week of Spring, the beginning of an astrological Cycle in Aries, and the first step of a journey of remembering.

The Ace of Wands Energy is an opportunity to emerge through fire and will, as a more authentic expression of ourselves. This is Cardinal Fire energy, Aries, birthing through focus, determination, directed in the deepest core of true self. This time will ask us to step in to the pressure, breath against the discomfort, and fully accept the feelings you are feeling in your body. These feelings are messages. These feelings that we think away, that we distract away, that we cope away, are the language of your soul, yearning to be heard and expressed. Your soul has a fire that will never die. It is always burning with the constant directive to express. To be. We felt this fire easily and effortlessly as babies, allowing any expression of self to be embraced. Over time, our environment groomed and domesticated us. We felt the container of our family and society, shape our fire, manage our fire and we became the groomers of ourselves. The beast masters. But the fire has never gone out. Our passion may lay under layers of domestication, however, it is always awaiting that optimum time to leap, to escape, to lose its head and roar. And this scares the SHILT (shame and guilt) within us. It shakes the walls and barriers, and rules, and coping mechanisms, and penetrates even the numb parts of our awareness that thought they were safe. Safe from the wild. 

I am here to tell you, that you are wild. You have a fire within you. You can feel it now as you read this. It may feel like pain. It may feel like sick. It may feel like anger, disgust, or judgement. And it can express like a throbbing. Like a pulsing, like a connection deep within that only needs your attention to be released, revealed, reoriented. 

Let this week, this first week of Aries, this Ace of Wands, to find it’s way out. To find it’s way in. To emerge from you, in you, as a mighty roar, a declaration that YOU ARE HERE. You have ARRIVED. You have gifts within your soul, powers within your body, and abilities beyond your brightness comprehension. It may take courage to allow, and make a mess of your domesticated identity in its becoming, but the rewards of being yourself are worth it.
